I keep this simple. If you write to me, I treat your details with the same care I would bring to your home.

I am Mahdi Shayan. The Levant House is my interior design studio, based in Croydon, South London. You can find me at www.thelevanthouse.com.
When you use the contact form, I only ask for what helps me reply properly:
I use your message to reply to you, and to talk about your project if we take things further. Nothing more. Your form goes through FormSubmit, which delivers it to my inbox. I will not put you on a marketing list, and I will not pass your details on. If that ever changed, I would ask you first.
This site does not use cookies, and it does not try to identify you. I look at simple, anonymous page counts so I can understand which pages are useful. That is all. No personal detail sits in the analytics.
I keep your enquiry for as long as I need it to reply, and for as long as we are working together if a project begins. If you would rather I delete it, just say so and I will.
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or withdraw your consent. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you feel something is wrong. I would always rather you write to me first, so I can put it right.
